voxeljet wins the Bavarian Founders' Prize 2015

The voxeljet AG was named “Rising Star of the Year” at the Bavarian Founders’ Award 2015. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial-grade 3D printing systems. voxeljet's roots lie at the Technical University of Munich. The now publicly listed company, which started in 1999 with four employees and relocated to Augsburg shortly after its founding, has grown into a globally active company with over 200 employees thanks to the triumph of 3D technology.

Rudolf Franz, CEO of voxeljet, on the award: "Receiving the Bavarian Founders' Award is another milestone in voxeljet's company history. [...] We view the award not only as recognition of our previous activities, but also as an incentive to continue to implement our visions with great motivation."

The Founders' Prize has been awarded by the Bavarian savings banks for 13 years. It originated from the "StartUp Competition for New Business Founders" established in 1997. This year's ceremony took place in Nuremberg at the end of May.
