Open pitch call for "The Lion's Den"! The popular Vox show is starting a new season on February 28th, and founders from Munich and the surrounding area are specifically looking for pitches. Join us and take your chance to land a deal with Frank Thelen and his team!
In 2017, inventors and young entrepreneurs will once again be appearing in front of five investors on Germany's most successful startup show, The Lion's Den (DHDL), whose help can help turn ideas into big companies. In front of the cameras, they must convince the lions to invest in their own business and lead it to success together. Applications are now open at dhdl@sonypictures-tv.de.
WERK1 as venue
For the first time, you also have the chance to personally present your business in advance and qualify for the show. And what better location than a startup center? The venue will be the Munich WERK1 at Ostbahnhof. On February 28, the Open Pitch Call at 9 a.m.
Until approximately 6 p.m., you have the opportunity to present your idea/business/product in a pitch of up to three minutes—just as you would present to the lions on the show. This pitch will be recorded and used in the selection process.
Last-minute visitors are also welcome
It is not necessary to bring a detailed business plan. However, products, prototypes, and visual aids are more than welcome. Those who wish to participate will need to be patient, as there will likely be some waiting time. Those who have a long journey or are limited in time have the option of being allocated a time slot in advance.
