Trade fair participation program continues

As part of the trade fair participation program, Bavarian companies receive financial support and organizational support for trade fair appearances. The program will continue at least until the first half of 2018.

Bavarian companies can receive support through the program at more than 60 international trade fairs. Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Ilse Aigner says:

"The Bavarian trade fair participation program opens a door to international business for our small and medium-sized enterprises. Last year, the program recorded nearly 500 exhibitors at 46 trade fair participations. For 2017, small and medium-sized enterprises can choose from 62 projects. 60 projects have already been confirmed for the first half of 2018."

In addition to trade fair participation, companies also have the opportunity to participate in business trips. Aigner explains that, alongside the federal government's program, the Bavarian Trade Fair Participation Program is the most comprehensive trade fair support program for companies in Germany:

“Participants benefit from the diverse services offered by Bayern International and its partners at home and abroad.”

Focus on Asia in 2016

Last year, the focus was on Asia, with almost a third of the projects on offer, followed by North America and Europe. Trade fairs in the USA, Iran, and Cuba attracted the greatest interest.
