Startups take note: In cooperation with the AHK Spain awards the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria This year, three booths will be available to startups at the South Summit from October 5th to October 7th in Madrid. The booth space is located at the joint stand of the AHK and IHK under the motto "German Ecosystems."

What exactly is the South Summit?
The South Summit is one of Europe's most important global startup events. A meeting place for:
– the largest startups from Southern Europe, the Mediterranean region and Latin America
– the most well-known investors and
– the largest and most innovative companies in the world
In 2015, more than 12,500 visitors from over 100 nationalities attended the three-day trade fair. In addition to the numerous visitors, more than 650 investors attended the South Summit to connect with startups from all over the world.
Who is eligible to participate in the South Summit?
Are you a startup looking to expand internationally and connect with investors and other startups? Then the South Summit is a great opportunity to advance your startup and find a suitable internationalization strategy.
Do I have to be fluent in Spanish to participate in South Summit?
No, the language of the event is English.
What do I have to do to get a stand space?
If you would like to get a stand at the South Summit, write by 14September 2016 an email to startup@muenchen.ihk.de with a brief description of your startup and a reason why you should receive one of the three booths. After reviewing the applications, the startups that have been awarded a booth will be notified by email. If you have any questions, please feel free to email startup@muenchen.ihk.de report. Legal recourse is excluded.
Do I have to pay anything for the stand space?
No, the stand space is provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Flights and accommodation are not included and must be covered by the exhibitor.
