The program is organized by the Bavarian State Office for South America in cooperation with the Mining Innovation Hub Peru. Its aim is to connect German companies with the Peruvian industrial and innovation ecosystem and to create concrete opportunities for cooperation.
Who can apply?
Startups and SMEs based in Germany that already have a market-ready product and initial customers are eligible to participate. They must also have sufficient resources for international scaling, such as Series A funding or comparable means.
Solutions are needed in the following areas, among others:
- Artificial intelligence and operational systems
- Data-based decision support
- Production and process efficiency
- Energy and resource efficiency
- Circular economy and sustainability
This is what you can expect
The selected company will receive access to a customized program in Lima. This includes meetings with representatives from industry, research, and the startup scene, networking opportunities, and participation in the Expomina trade fair.
The program also includes workshops and mentoring opportunities. Travel and accommodation costs for one person are covered.
The selection process takes place in three phases: application, pre-selection, and Demo Day. In the final, the participating companies present their solution to a German-Peruvian jury.
