Heilig's Blechle: The Munich company etventure builds on the joint cooperation with Accelerate Stuttgart and becomes the new majority shareholder of the accelerator for Baden-Württemberg. Together, they aim to support innovative founders and connect startups with companies.
The Stuttgart region is important to the Munich-based digital expert and company builder simply because of its proximity to major clients such as Wüstenrot & Württembergische and Daimler Financial Services. But it's not just the big names that are responsible for the interest and commitment: A digital startup scene has now developed in the neighboring state. A key driver and supporter of this startup scene was and remains: Accelerate Stuttgart.
etventure: “A perfect fit”
Since 2012, the accelerator has been supporting startup teams in developing digital business models, but also supports companies in their digital transformation, for example, through startup scouting and workshops. Activities range from an accelerator program to the rental of innovative office space to the organization of events in the region.
Accelerate Stuttgart Founders Johannes Ellenberg is moving to etventure as part of the structural changes and will be responsible for driving the company's corporate innovation business in Baden-Württemberg. However, he will initially continue to lead the existing Accelerate Stuttgart team.
“The culture, approach and goals of etventure and Accelerate Stuttgart fit together perfectly,”
explained Philipp Depiereux, founder and managing director of etventure.
"We are looking forward to working with Accelerate Stuttgart and Johannes Ellenberg, with whom we are bringing on board a specialist for the startup scene and digital transformation in the "Ländle" region."
Ellenberg said:
"Through this collaboration, we combine our most important assets. On etventure's side, this is primarily the extensive experience in developing digital business models for national and international companies, as well as startups. Accelerate Stuttgart, in turn, brings a well-established network in the startup scene, as well as in companies, politics, and associations in Baden-Württemberg."
“Corporate meets Startup” business area to continue to grow
With its investment in Accelerate Stuttgart, etventure is not only expanding its presence in Baden-Württemberg. Above all, the new "Corporate meets Startup" division of the etventure subsidiary European Innovation Hub is set to continue to grow through and with Accelerate Stuttgart. The goal of "Corporate meets Startup" is to use startup screening and startup pilot programs to specifically connect companies and startups, thus bringing innovations, trends, and startup culture into companies and generating new digital business for both sides.
