In France, Planet A Foods is launching its collaboration with chocolate maker Abtey. Together, the companies are launching eight new Choviva products. Starting mid-March, these will be available in numerous supermarkets such as Auchan, Carrefour, Intermarché, and Monoprix. Abtey's online shop also offers another purchasing option. French customers benefit from the wide availability of this sustainable chocolate alternative.
Planet A Foods is also expanding its product range in Germany. For the first time, Choviva products can be found in seasonal retail offers: Lidl Germany is launching the Favorina Easter Bunny with Choviva, produced by Wergona Schokoladen. Penny is expanding its range with the "Knabbernest" sweet, produced in collaboration with Rau Chocolate & Cereals. Startup also consistently continued its expansion in the domestic market.
In the UK, Planet A Foods is celebrating the launch of its cocoa-free chocolate. In collaboration with Wawi Schokoladen-AG, a new product is being developed that offers British consumers a sustainable alternative for Easter.
Choviva on the road to success
With its Europe-wide Easter campaign, Planet A Foods is strengthening its position as an innovator in the chocolate market. In light of supply bottlenecks and rising cocoa prices, demand for alternatives is becoming increasingly important. Choviva is the world's first cocoa-free chocolate. Instead, it is made from regional oats and sunflower seeds using a patented manufacturing process.
CEO Maximilian Marquart emphasizes:
"Easter is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how versatile Choviva can be as an ingredient. Seasonal products offer exciting opportunities because they generate large quantities in a short period of time – this way, we can reach even more people with our sustainable treats. We're delighted that Choviva is featured in Easter ranges for the first time – and there's more to come!"
