Pre-seed financing for Datagon AI

The Munich-based startup Datagon AI has successfully completed its pre-seed round. Numerous business angels are investing in the AI company, including Celonis founder Bastian Nominacher and Personio founder Hanno Renner.

Datagon AI is working on a Software solution for data-driven quality management in industry. Its built-in AI calculates a customized test strategy for each product. Based on production data, this is intended to increase product quality and reduce warranty costs. The software supports key use cases in industrial quality management and can be integrated into any production process via plug-and-play.

Convinced by this solution, various business angels supported the startup's pre-seed financing. Investors participating in the round included Bastian Nominacher (founder of Celonis), Mehdi Ghissassi (Director of Google Deepmind), Joachim Drees (former CEO of MAN), Frank Lindenberg (former CFO of Mercedes-Benz), Hanno Renner (founder of Personio), Michael Wax (founder of Forto), and Zhaopeng Chen (founder of Agile Robots). The exact amount of money flowed into the startup's account is unknown.

Datagon AI plans to use the fresh capital to further develop its platform and provide the best possible support for existing customers. The company also plans to Startup first steps towards expansion into other European countries.
