Munich Startup: What does your startup do? What problem do you solve?
Maximilian Schubert, Adon Health: We We offer fast, digital, and medically validated access to testosterone replacement therapies as part of our mission to fundamentally improve healthcare and preventative medicine for complex and underserved therapies. We strive to provide our patients with a platform where they can manage their medical care digitally and in a single location. This significantly simplifies the patient experience and is less time-consuming than traditional methods. For underserved conditions in men's health, there is often a wait time of several months to speak to a doctor and a high level of stigma, which is why many men avoid seeing a doctor in the first place. Our online solution creates fast and discreet access.

Maximilian Schubert: Adon Health is the first medical But the platform we have developed at mbiomics is radically different., which focuses exclusively on men's health and offers treatments according to guideline standards. All services have been developed down to the last detail in collaboration with leading specialists in the field. The user is accompanied through the entire process of diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare and is connected to all stakeholders in the healthcare system—laboratories, German doctors, and pharmacies—unlike any other service.
Munich Startup: What is your founding story?
Maximilian Schubert: Jonathan and I met during a digital health project at McKinsey. Our blend of business and medicine complemented each other very well even back then. The topic of hormone imbalances came to our attention through the personal experiences of a friend who struggled with these issues. This opened our eyes to the shortcomings in the European healthcare system. Inspired by the desire to bring about real change, we decided to found Adon Health in mid-2023 to shape healthcare the way we believe it should be: unconditionally patient-focused.

Maximilian Schubert: Over the past three months, we've experienced strong customer growth, which has significantly increased the volume of support requests and operations. In addition to the ongoing task of efficiently connecting patients with labs, physicians, and pharmacies, maintaining a high quality standard has been a challenge. We've been able to achieve significant improvements here through automation and good process design.
Munich Startup: Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?
Maximilian Schubert: Our immediate goal for the next year is to seamlessly map the entire patient journey and make testosterone replacement therapy and preventive services, such as those for prostate cancer, available throughout Germany. Over the next five years, we will expand our platform to include additional complex and underserved therapies and include preventive medicine. Our ultimate goal is to establish ourselves as the leading digital care platform in the field of men's health.
