Startup Germany Summit: Energyminer receives award

Energyminer will be honored at this year's Startup Germany Summit in Berlin: Economics Minister Robert Habeck will honor the Munich startup during the event.

Energyminer generates baseload-capable, clean electricity in harmony with nature and the landscape. The floating current power plant, called Energyfish, harnesses the flow velocity of rivers to generate electricity – without dams or concrete. The river remains as natural as it is. The innovative Energyfish swarm produces CO2-free electricity and offers a strategic solution for the energy transition. Without soil sealing or infrastructure expansion, the power plant delivers affordable and reliable electricity.

Dedicated work for a greener future

Richard Eckl, CEO of Energyminer, is delighted with the award:

"We are delighted to receive this award, which recognizes our hard work and commitment to a greener future. The prize encourages us to continue developing innovative solutions and making our contribution to climate protection."

The Startup Germany Summit, an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, brings together the best startups, investors, and decision-makers from politics and business every year. This year, around 900 guests are attending the event, including State Secretary Udo Philipp and Parliamentary State Secretary Franziska Brantner, to exchange ideas on current trends and challenges in the startup scene and to celebrate the award winners from the federal states. In addition to the Main Stage, there is also the Strategy Stage, the International Stage, and the Community Stage. On the latter, all 16 federal states will present a joint program under the motto "We are one." There will also be discussions about how the federal government, the states, and the business community can work together even better.
