Focus on mobility: Apply now for the 2nd City Demo Day

The City Demo Day aims to promote collaboration between startups and the city administration, including its own companies and subsidiaries, and to jointly develop innovations. Startups can apply for the second edition, which focuses on the mobility sector, until September 30th.

How can startups and the city administration work together to advance the innovation landscape? This question is the focus of the City Demo Day, which is being organized by Referat für Arbeit und Wirtschaft of the state capital Munich At the event, which will take place for the second time on November 13th, representatives of the Munich city administration and other municipalities will meet the startup scene of Munich's innovation ecosystem.

This will not only provide a closer look at the possibilities for collaboration between the city administration and startups, but will also explore the public procurement process in talks and workshops. Startups will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and engage directly with the city's contacts.

Each edition of City Demo Day focuses on a different topic. The first edition of the event focused on nutrition and energy. The next event will focus on mobility. Startups that want to participate on November 13 and pitch their ideas can apply until September 30. There will also be an opportunity to have a booth. In addition to numerous startups, representatives from all municipal departments and some subsidiaries, other municipalities, and startup centers are expected to attend.

Applications can be sent via email to citydemoday@studio-stadt-region.de They should include a brief description of the startup (1-2 sentences) as well as an explanation of why the startup wants to participate and what its expectations are for a collaboration with the city (2-3 sentences).
