AppliedAI is Europe's largest initiative for the application of trustworthy AI and supports companies in their holistic AI transformation. MCML is a joint initiative of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It is funded as part of the AI strategy of the German and Bavarian governments. The MCML aims to strengthen regional, national, and international expertise in the field of AI and to make the corresponding potential of science and industry accessible to people.
Companies receive concrete help from AppliedAI and the MCML
Both initiatives are now collaborating. At the core of the collaboration is the combination of current AI research and application expertise. This aims to promote the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI applications in companies. Specifically, this means that companies have the opportunity to contact MCML or AppliedAI directly with their concerns and questions about AI. Depending on the request and focus, a team of AppliedAI employees and a suitable MCML chair will then be found, who will then be directly integrated into the company project. This will provide companies with personalized support to accelerate the use of AI.
Andreas Liebl, CEO and Co-Founder of AppliedAI, says:
"Our goal is to maintain and expand Europe's competitiveness in the AI era. Through our collaboration with MCML, we now have a unique combination of research and application to make the use of AI as easy as possible for companies."
Thomas Meier, Coordinator for Industrial Cooperation at MCML, adds:
"Since the Chat-GPT moment, we've experienced a boom in AI. AppliedAI offers extensive expertise in transfer consulting for applications of various AI topics in industry. Through close collaboration with AppliedAI, we see a great opportunity to expand concrete transfer projects into practical applications."
