Voiceline secures €2.4 million in seed round

Munich-based startup Voiceline raised €2.4 million in its seed round, bringing its total funding to €4.2 million. Venture Stars and Scalehouse Capital led the round.

Voiceline, founded in 2020 by Nicolas Höflinger and Sebastian Pinkas, has developed a solution with which field staff can record customer interactions via voice inputAn AI analyzes the inputs, recognizes industry-specific jargon and terminology, and transfers them into automated follow-up processes. In this way, the Startup Not only does it significantly reduce the follow-up time for customer appointments, but it also ensures comprehensive documentation that provides companies with valuable insights. According to the company, the solution reduces follow-up time, which can take more than 60 minutes per appointment, by up to 80 percent.

Nicolas Höflinger, Managing Director and co-founder of Voiceline, explains:

"Our conversations with more than 1,000 field sales representatives and their managers have revealed two critical problems: excessive time spent on manual documentation and administrative tasks, and incomplete data capture. These problems aren't being addressed by the industry's major players, such as Salesforce, Microsoft, or Hubspot. We want to solve them."

Medium-sized companies are already using Voiceline

In recent years, Voiceline has focused heavily on the field service of medium-sized companies. After intensive testing with around 400 companies, the startup was able to identify its ideal market. Around 25 medium-sized customers, such as Böllhoff, Hawle, Bohnenkamp, and Schrauben-Jäger, as well as enterprise customers such as Elis Textilmanagement from France, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, and Julius Blum from Austria, are now working with the startup. According to the company, the company is currently experiencing monthly growth of 50 percent.

Höflinger is sure:

"Sales employees who go into the field value personal customer contact. This will not be replicated digitally in the long term. We want to ensure that these employees can fully focus on generating the greatest profit for their company."

Voiceline has now successfully completed its seed round, raising €2.4 million. The round is led by Venture Stars and Scalehouse Capital. They join Cavalry Ventures, which invested in the pre-seed round along with several business angels. Voiceline's angels include Peter Walz and Jens Schulte-Bockum (both former C-level executives at Vodafone), Florian Huber (founder of United Domains), Julius Göllner (serial entrepreneur & founder of Arrtist Community), Christian Rebernik (former CTO at N26), and others. The startup has already raised a total of €4.2 million.
