Solation makes tenant electricity uncomplicated: The tenant electricity concept involves supplying electricity generated on the roof of a rental building or in its immediate vicinity directly to the building's tenants. This allows locally generated electricity from renewable sources to be used directly on-site, which not only decentralizes the power grid, but also serves as an incentive for landlords to install solar panels on the roofs of their buildings. However, high administrative hurdles make this difficult. The startup Solation has developed solutions for this – and simultaneously combines tenant electricity with social commitment.
