The monthly review starts at 3:10. We start with the financing round of Truckoo. With its platform and app, the start-up digitizes the trade of commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and construction vehicles and received 1.5 million euros from the Austrian investment company Wave-X. The fintech Vinlivt in turn secured just under one million euros in a pre-seed extension. Significantly more, namely a total of 18.6 million euros, went to Insempra. The biotech company develops sustainable alternatives to agricultural or petrochemical-based substances. Simpleclub in turn, is digitizing teaching and training and received four million euros from several investors in May. And the e-mobility start-up Reev successfully completed its Series A and raised ten million euros.
Takeovers, partnerships and other success stories in the newsflash
Several Munich start-ups went on a shopping spree in May and took over other companies (from minute 6:15). For example Quello the Dutch operator of Park & Charge charging stations, Holidu acquired the Spanish provider of vacation rentals Clubrural and Avi Medical secured iAtros and its solution for the data-driven treatment of cardiology patients. The Munich-based consulting start-up was also acquired Inaifrom Flyeralarm.
The Munich start-ups also found new partners (from minute 8:00) Quantum Systems and Arx Roboticsinto each other. In addition, the Blickfeld an agreement with the Canadian company Senstar, which intends to use the Blickfeld sensors to protect critical infrastructure such as airports in the future. And Hey Circle will be supplying the fashion label Drykorn with its reusable mailing bags.
Finally, from minute 10:00 onwards, we present the very good performance of the Munich startup ecosystem in terms of start-ups and financing rounds. In addition, the change from Tado to the electricity supplier and the second phase of the Munich Business Plan Competition also addressed.
